1. About these terms

These Terms of Use apply to your use of the FabuLane Logistics website (the "website"), operated by FabuLane Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong ("FabuLane", "we", "us"). By using the website or sending us a request, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. Our role and services

FabuLane arranges freight forwarding and logistics services, including sea freight, air freight, customs clearance and door-to-door delivery. We work with a network of partner freight forwarders, carriers and service providers. Depending on the shipment, we may act as your agent in arranging services with these third parties, or contract with you directly. Our role for each shipment will be set out in our quotation or booking confirmation.

Descriptions of our network, services and potential savings on this website are general information about how we work. The number and availability of partners, and the offers received, vary by route, cargo and market conditions.

3. Quotes and offers

• Sending a request through the website, by email, WhatsApp or Telegram does not create a contract. A contract only exists once you accept our written quotation or we confirm your booking.
• Quotations are based on the information you provide and on rates, surcharges, exchange rates and capacity at the time of quoting. They are valid for the period stated in the quotation and may change if the shipment details or market conditions change.
• Unless stated otherwise, quotations do not include duties, taxes, inspection fees, storage, demurrage, detention or other charges imposed by authorities, ports or carriers.
• We aim to obtain competitive offers for you, but we do not guarantee that any offer is the lowest available in the market, or that a particular saving will be achieved.
• Transit times are estimates provided by carriers and are not guaranteed.

4. Trading conditions

All services are provided under our standard trading conditions, which will be provided with our quotation or on request, and, where applicable, the terms and conditions of the carriers and service providers involved. These conditions may limit or exclude liability, including for loss of or damage to goods. If there is any conflict between these Terms of Use and the trading conditions that apply to a shipment, the trading conditions prevail for that shipment. We recommend that you insure your cargo; we can arrange cargo insurance on request.

5. Information you provide

You are responsible for making sure that the information you give us about yourself and your cargo is accurate and complete, including the nature, weight, dimensions and value of the goods, and whether they are dangerous, restricted or subject to sanctions or export controls. You must not use our services to ship goods that are illegal or prohibited in any country involved. Inaccurate information may lead to delays, extra charges or refusal of carriage.

6. Use of this website

You may use the website for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse the quote form or contact channels (for example, by sending spam or false requests), try to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems, or introduce viruses or other harmful code.

The content of the website is provided for general information only. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but we make no warranty that it is complete, current or free from errors, and we may change it at any time without notice.

7. Intellectual property

The FabuLane name and logo and all content on this website are owned by or licensed to FabuLane Limited. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without our prior written permission, except for viewing and printing pages for your own reference.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FabuLane is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or reliance on its content, including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of business. Our liability in connection with any shipment is governed by the trading conditions described in section 4. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Hong Kong law.

9. Third-party websites and services

The website links to third-party services such as WhatsApp and Telegram, and may link to other websites. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data, including the details you send in a quote request.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with its "Last updated" date. By continuing to use the website after a change, you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The courts of Hong Kong have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms or the website. If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If there is any inconsistency between the English version and any translation, the English version prevails.
